YES Quest

  ghfp   YES Quest is an international project that aims to support young people in their search for autonomy and independence, and to offer an opportunity for them to discover their own unique talents and dispositions and feel to empowered to express themselves in the world. This creates in today's world a 'rite de passage' for young people to mark and celebrate their transition from childhood to adulthood.
  an inner and outer journey community
  quest yes group    YES Quest programmes take place in different locations around the world. They feature:
  • A residential programme that can run from seven days to three weeks;
  • Beautiful venues that you would want to visit on a holiday;
  • A group of young people you can share your experiences and have fun with;
  • Support of facilitators who are skilled, supportive and very experienced;
  • Opportunities for self-exploration, creative expression, outdoor activities, team building and community sharing.

  Enthum Foundation, which is based in the UK, runs YES Quest in the UK and Europe. It raises funds to help support young people to attend Quests.

YES Quest is often defined as (1) a personal inner journey to help the young person find his/her life's goals and interests, discover their abilities and talents as well as characteristic limiting behaviours (sabotages); (2) an outer journey through a wilderness trek, volunteering in a community project, or planning an enterprise project.

As well as the 'inner' and 'outer' journeys in great locations, YES Quest puts strong emphasis on building a supportive and trusted community to support young people's quests. Relationships established between the young people and the facilitators are often enduring.
