| Alexandra Asseily |
| As witness of the pain of the civil war in Lebanon, Alexandra explored her own responsibility for war and for peace. She became a psychotherapist. She is a governor and founder of the Centre for Lebanese Studies, Oxford, a founder member of the Ara Pacis Initiative, and a former member of the Advisory Board of the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University. In 1998 Alexandra initiated Hadiqat As-Samah, the Garden of Forgiveness, in downtown Beirut. She is actively involved in helping individuals and groups reach a better understanding of forgiveness, as a bridge to peace. |

| Patrice Brodeur |
| Patrice Brodeur, PhD, is Canada Research Chair on Islam, Pluralism and Globalisation at the Faculty of theology and Religious studies, University of Montreal. He completed his doctorate studies at Harvard University. Recently, he completed a 3-week tour of 6 Arab countries to lecture on Pluralism in Canada and in Islam, organized by the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has co-edited last year a book on Towards a Pluralist Paradigm: Religion and Democracy in the 21st century. |

| Simon Xavier Guerrand-Hermès |
| Simon Xavier Guerrand-Hermès, Chairman of the GHFP's Board of Trustees, is the Vice Chairman of Hermès of Paris, and board member of Hermès International. He is also the Chairman of Eden Development. Simon completed his graduate studies in Harvard Divinity School. Currently, he is an Honorary Fellow of Oxford University, and Treasurer of Religions for Peace. In 2006, he was awarded the Officer of the National Order of the Legion of Honour in France. |

| Hubert Guerrand-Hermès |
| Hubert Guerrand-Hermès studied law before he stepped into the management of the Hermès Group. He is the Vice-Chairman of Hermès Holding Emile Hermès, and the General Manager of Hermès Group's real estate companies. Hubert was formerly the Foreign Trade Adviser to the French Goverment. Amongst other roles, he is also Treasurer of Société des Amis du Musée National d'Art Moderne de Paris, and board member of L'Edition Artistique. In 1999, he was awarded the Officer of the National Order of the Legion of Honour in France. |

| Sharif Horthy |
| Sharif Istvan Horthy, President of the GHFP and Vice Chairman of the GHFP's Board of Trustees, was born in Hungary, and is the grandson of Admiral Horthy (Regent of Hungary 1920-1944). He studied physics at Oxford University and civil engineering at Imperial College. At 25, Sharif embraced Islam. He has worked as a civil engineer and businessman in Britain, Indonesia and the USA. He is currently living in the UK. Sharif is also on the advisory board of the Three Faiths Forum, and a Trustee of the Museum of World Religions (UK). |
